Names hold more weight than you'd think. Valerie means 'Strength' and 'Valiant'. Makinzie means 'Born of fire.' Allbright was her mother's nod to Odin's name of Allfather, and when Val was born, she nearly glowed with magic.

She is unsure how to quantify her age, does she count the five, nearly six years she was dead? But by the date she was born, she's about 35 now.

She's very intelligent and very powerful, though she won't let on at first. She'll seem helpless and stupid but she's far from it.

She runs on coffee and chocolate, but comforts herself by baking.
